Spot Rewards Mobile App
The goal of this project was to create a way for Field Marketing reps to reward retail sales associates in store by awarding them 'Expert Points' which could be used to buy gift cards/products. The Field Reps operate within a set list of stores, so they needed to be able to easily find existing sales superstars and register new users within the stores they visit on a regular basis.

User Experience & Wireframe Design
The process began with user research. We began by interviewing members of the Field Rep team that would be using this tool to get a better idea what their day-to-day activities looked like and how they might use the app. Once we had consolidated our notes, I moved on to wireframes using Moqups. Main product features included an account overview for the Field Rep, a user search/look-up tool and a registration form for salespeople who were not yet part of the program.

During this phase of the project, we discovered an opportunity to add useful functionality for our Rep audience by incorporating profile pages for the sales associates which could track their participation in an online retail training site. Additionally, we found the "search by location" feature could be used by the Reps as a way to prepare ahead of time for future store visits.

UI Design
Once the wireframes had been approved by the Product team, I moved on to design the UI for the app. I used a combination of Photoshop and Illustrator to create the logo and overall theme. The black and green color palette tied into the existing design for the "Expert Points" program the sales associates would be using to claim their rewards. Iconography and logos were used throughout to add color and pop as well as make the information easy to understand at a glance.

Conclusion
In the end, the product proved to be a great help for our Field Rep audience. Beyond allowing them to award points to the best and brightest in the stores they visit everyday, it helped them track how engaged those sales associates were. The initial creation of this product was for one dedicated Field program, and it is now garnering a lot of interest for other Field clients to add to their programs.
